In short: Your data belongs to you. You can see it, correct it, take it with you, or have it erased — and you can do most of it yourself, right now, from your account.
Your rights under the GDPR
Access your data
You can download everything we hold about you — profile, orders, appointments, results and documents — from your account settings, at any time, free of charge.
Correct what is wrong
Edit your details in your profile. If something in a clinical record looks wrong, email us and we will investigate and correct it.
Delete your data
You can close your account and request erasure from your settings. We delete what we are allowed to delete. Some records — invoices and certain medical records — we are legally required to keep for a set period; we tell you which, and we delete them when that period expires.
Take your data elsewhere
Your export is provided in a structured, machine-readable format you can give to another provider.
Withdraw consent
Marketing emails: unsubscribe from any email, or turn them off in your settings. Analytics cookies: use the cookie settings link in the footer. Health data processing: you can withdraw this, but it means we can no longer provide the service.
Object or restrict
You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, or ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.
How to exercise them
Most of these are available directly in your account settings. For anything else, email info@behealth.uk. We reply within one month, as the GDPR requires, and we never charge for a first request.
If you are unhappy with our response
You have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country. We would rather fix it first, so please give us the chance — but the right is yours either way.
